Frequently Asked Questions
-
Tutorless courses are not intended to replace schooling in its entirety. Our subscriptions are designed to compliment a child’s schooling or self-study, like traditional tutoring. They’ll help to reinforce the curriculum knowledge they’ve already learnt in an effort to improve subject confidence, enhance exam performance and, ultimately, achieve higher grades.
-
If assignments are completed consistently, week-in-week-out, your child will see a measurable benefit within the first month. We record the marks of each assignment and will report their progress each month to allow parents / carers to ensure that they’re getting value for money.
-
Yes! You can sign up to multiple courses that cover a range of subjects. You just need to click here, select your preferred subscription, choose your course, enter your payment details and away you go.
-
We don’t offer free trials at this time as we simply don’t need to. Our results speak for themselves and we’re confident that your child will reap the benefits of our courses in their first month.
Setup FAQ
-
No, there’s no need to create an account. Instead, simply subscribe to one of our courses and we’ll add you to our database. An account manager will then be in touch to collect extra details, such as: your child’s name, age, their preferred way to receive the assignments (via email, Showbie, Google Classroom, etc), and any emails you’d like to the progress reports sent to.
If you’ve siged up to a subscription with Direct Support, we’ll also require some extra information for safeguarding purposes.
-
We send assignments four times a week, typically on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday - never on the weekend. This ensures that information is refreshed at strategic points during the week, leading to better knowledge retention, all the while leaving your child with more time to enjoy.
-
This all depends on how your child would like to receive the assignments. If via email, for example, then your child simply needs to edit the PDF document using a PDF editor, attach it to an email and send it back to the email we sent it from. If using a learning management system (LMS), like Showbie or Google Classroom, then the tools for editing the PDF are available within the platforms themselves and the completed work can be saved there too.
-
Once an assignment has been submitted for marking then a qualified teacher will have it returned within 48 hours. They’ll include an overall score as well as feedback on how the student can improve the gaps in their knowledge. They may include written comments, a link to one of our explanation articles or a Tutorless-made instruction video on YouTube.
-
If you’ve purchased an Assignment+Marking+Direct Support package then your child will have access to a qulified teacher via WhatsApp and weekly one-to-one video sessions. Once subscribed, we’ll then provide you with our WhatsApp contact details. Video sessions are typically conducted using Zoom.
